Plant as Form (2018-2023)
The following series of ink drawings are part of continuous study on the shapes of individual plants but more over the shapes of many species together. Although it is recognized to be a Jungle, all the plant species seem to blend into one body this can be noted via the open contours, ink like sap turns many into one. I’m interested in the different configurations that plant species make themselves into and the absolute form in which they merge. This project is part of my efforts to explore ways to represent nature.
